How we appeared
After the March 2012 presidential elections, air trembled with angered people's desire to change something around. A lot of informal activists groups in different spheres emerged that time. But in St.-Petersburg there was no place where they can meet, find supporters, share experience. In August 2012 such a place was set up as common space for all non-political civic initiatives.

For the moment The Open Space is:
- Platform for civic activists
- Lections, workshops
- Exhibitions
- Public coworking for civic activists
- Permanent schools for civiс activists
